Craft Barn Alpha Challenge - Letter F

Evening all,

lol my apologies before I even start!! I really wasn't feeling the love with this one as I could not find a word within the challenge remit that inspired me much but I stuck to my theme and plodded through as I am determined to complete the challenge - hey ho, such is life sometimes!!

If you fancy joining in with the challenge please pop on over here for all the details and if you fancy a peek at the other amazing entries please pop on over here.

Anyhoo, my chosen word within the FE - FR twist this week is FLAMEN........

The image is from royalty free stock on Wikipedia and depicts the priests, the FLAMENS.

The flourish stamp is from a BoBunny set.

Many thanks for popping by and leaving a comment if you feel you would like too. Ha ha ha after this feeble effort I wouldn't blame you if you don't.

Huge hugs

Dawn x

Brilliant choice of word Dawn - they say you learn something new everyday and I just did!
Love that image you've used. Even though it's a flat 2d image, the wonderful carving makes it look 3d as it probably is in real life - stunning!
That gorgous background colour you chose to use is perfect for this image. Brilliant work my friend and DON'T put yourself down please - this is a fab piece of art and lots of people should come and see it!
Big hugs as ever, enjoy the rest of your weekend too. Juliaxxx

I'm having a devil of a time getting here. With all the bad weather we've been having, my computer has been off more than on these past few days.

I was SO happy you, Karen, and BJ got together at the Extravaganza. Sounds like you gals had a good time, too.

I confess I learned a new word tonight. It's always fun when I visit an artist friend AND learn something new. Lovely book pages, lovely art, great learning experience.

I think you have done a fine job - it is quite hard adding a second challenge of a theme to this Alpha Challenge as well I know. BJ

Tough challenge for you Dawn but you pulled it off. I love how the carvings look as if they are coming out of the page.

Fingers crossed that the next letter will be kinder to you.
