Craft Barn Alpha Challenge - Letter B

Afternoon all,

hope the sun is shining for you all??

If you fancy playing along with this fab challenge and having a peek at the other entries for the letter B please pop on over HERE.

Here is my effort - B for BACCHUS........

Ha ha ha, I had much fun doing a painty splatty background - can you tell!!!??? Lol I got a bit carried away and almost obliterated the definitions with paint but realised just in the nick of time - ish!!!!!!!!

The bottles of wine on the border are courtesy of Crafty Individuals and were stamped on to DI'd card before being clear embossed and cut out.

The images were found on Google.

Tee hee, not being averse to a chilled glass of Rose, B could only have been Bacchus as far as my theme went - HIC!!

Many thanks for popping by and leaving a comment if you feel you would like to, your time and thoughts are always much appreciated.

Huge huggles

Dawn x

Trust you Missy to go for the God Of Wine!! It's a really good, original choice and I love how you depicted it. Wonderful background with lots of gorgeous colour and detail.
Didn't think I'd make it this time but thought I should and I'm not quite last either!
Big hugs,
Juliaxx

Lovely word choice and page. Nothing better than hot summer evenings with chilled glass of wine! This so evokes that. Julie Ann xx

Hey Dawn
You asked about scanning pages of the type book I just bought - someone has beat me to it (thank goodness!) and it's free. Search for Specimen Book and Catalog 1923 by American Type Foundry. There are a couple of sites that have scanned the whole 1100 pages and one guy on flickr that has started, so there are many pages available.
If you email me your address, I'll send you a couple pages....

Given how much wine I enjoy I am amazed I always forget able Bacchus. Love what you have done with your page and it does look like you had fun creating it.Hic.

This is incredible. I love the wine bottles, and how you used the B in your book. Your theme is perfect and fits in nicely with Baccas, too. HIC yourself (grin)!!

Your pages are wonderful Dawn. At first I thought it was Sampson letting down his hair and then I saw all the wine bottles and knew I just had to be wrong!!! I really love your style!
